Part of the WFCA common maintenance area are 8 storm sewer drainage ponds. Of these ponds, 7 are wet retention ponds and 1 is a dry detention pond.

Recent improvements to the ponds include dredging and re-lining ponds 1 and 2. In 2019 & 2020, dredging was done in Pond 3. The engineering company of Bledsoe, Riggert, Cooper & James was hired to study the ponds and create a report.

At the 2022 Annual General Meeting a budget was approved that included a plan to restore ponds #3 through #7 during 2023. A request for bids was released mid-January. A contractor was selected and dredging started in the fall. The five ponds will be completed at one time.
